Yuba Sutter struggled with brand awareness for the region and an inability to consistently secure overnight visitors.
Our goal was to identify the assets of the region that would attract visitors, rebuild a new visual brand and create targeted ad campaigns to increase visitors. Working closely with the Yuba Sutter Team we implemented the new branding across all deliverables: a new website, multiple print pieces, digital media and video.
The visual identity is built around the iconic Sutter Butte Peak in color ways that complement the landscape in the surrounding areas. Mountains also symbolize a sense of adventure to the viewer further communicating the many outdoor activities available to visitors. Educating the audience that there is more more to see in Yuba Sutter was an important aspect to this rebrand, hence the added "Visit" typography to the main mark.
